One candle produces enough light to illuminate the darkest of places.
In 2020 we officially launched Bodhi's Light on Father's Day. The idea behind this was two-fold. It was our hope that our candles were not merely home fragrance accessories, but also an experience in gratitude, joy, and giving light to the many lives that our candles could reach. The other, was to celebrate that we were still a family that celebrated milestones, like birthdays with candles and cake, graduations, anniversaries, weddings, Mother's Day, and of course, Father's Day.
Our Story
The idea for our company, Bodhi's Light was conceived in darkness, a cold intensive care unit where the life of our co-founder hung in the balance nearly two years ago. But we were also surrounded with the warmest nurses and doctors who saved our co-founder's life. Inspired by the light of our son, Bodhi, and the light of our healthcare heroes, we decided to create Bodhi's Light. Our mission and goal was easy: Illuminating lives, one candle at a time.
Nurses, doctors, and healthcare workers illuminated our lives in 2019 when they saved our co-founder's life! We wanted to repay them by giving that light back through our signature Gratitude Candles.
Every quarter your purchase helps us donate Gratitude Candles to local health care heroes who do so much by taking care of our loved ones.
